I liked how the inside of the office looks! Everyone was friendly! Dr Rapchick really informed me of my treatment in detail! Liz the hygienist took her time with me talking to me about everything that is going on and is very informative! I also saw Dr Huish and he as well was very informative of my dental needs! I am glad that I found this office for all my dental needs! They really care about their patients and I don’t feel like just a number! Thank you Salem Dental for the great care! I will recommend you to anyone who needs a dental office!
So I met with Dr Huish and Michele today for a free consultation to see if I was a candidate for the All on 4 implants.In late June of this year 2022 I had all my teeth removed and immediate dentures placed by Kaiser Permenente. I had a lot of issues with my teeth and my smile was beyond broken. I’m 45. I’m a proud dad of 3 young children and married for 13 years. I did not have the money nor credit worthiness to afford implants at that time vs the need to have the teeth removed so dentures were an ideal option for my circumstances. Besides the nice smile the dentures are so inconvenient and uncomfortable. They look great but that’s it.I wanted a second opinion outside of Kaiser and heard amazing results from friends who have been seen by Dr Huish. I went in today to Salem dental on 9/20 the office was beautiful and both Michele and Dr Huish were great! They gave me X-rays to find out if I was a candidate for the procedure and turns out although I’ve had severe bone loss I am in fact still a good candidate. I was excited! I don’t want any more bone loss and I absolutely can’t stand my dentures for so many reasons. After all was said and done today the total cost of the procedure is $48000 for zirconium which is the best of the best and which I would love to have.Unfortunately for me even with a solid work history working for the same great company for 14 years I cannot afford this and my credit is not worthy of such a loan from the various 3rd party financing. They do not offer any affordable options in house. I need this procedure done for much more than cosmetic purposes and I’m devastated to find out that I can’t afford to get it done. 😞
I had not been to the dentist in literally 17 years. I was apprehensive at first but the staff at Salem Dental was very friendly and welcoming. I had to have some fillings and they were able to give me an accurate quote of my out-of-pocket cost up front.I also had a teeth cleaning with Liz. She was fantastic! She made the whole process painless and easy. I had a great experience here!
I have been a patient of Dr Huish for several years, he is a great dentist, very knowledgeable and easy going guy. On my recent visit, I met Jennifer one of the dental assistants, although she is rather new at this office , it’s obvious she’s not new at this job! Jennifer stands out as the most confident and personable dental assistance that I’ve ever known. On my first visit when Jennifer was the assistant, I thought that she was actually a dentist, I could feel her confidence and professionalism! She treated me like A person rather than just a patient, this is huge for me ,so many times I have been to some type of medical facility and I am just treated as a patient and not an individual, since I do suffer from anxiety, this office is awesome to making me feel comfortable! Jennifer is a real asset to this practice, she is a wonderful wonderful person and I hope she continues to practice at this office for many many years! Thank you so much Jennifer!
